Eight contingents make up the Arctic Winter Games including, Alaska, Alberta North, Team Kalaallit Nunaat, Nunavik Quebec, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Sápmi, and Yukon.
Each contingent is responsible for hosting their respective tryouts to determine which participants will compete at the Arctic Winter Games.

The team colours are blue and gold.
